My job is to capture images to showcase your brand. Enhancing your resume, website, and socials with strong visuals that communicate what you do professionally, with personality and confidence.
Your skills, experience, and professionalism can't just exist they need to stand out.
In today's market, it's not enough to simply list what you do. People need to see who you are. That's where visuals come in.
Your resume, portfolio, and your online presence play a large part in this.
YOU are your brand.
Regardless of whether or not you're actively on a job hunt, exploring new freelance opportunities, or trying to be prepared in the event that you get laid off. Enhancing the personal brand that people look at when they consider you, should be a priority.
This is why brand photos and portraits that feel like you are so important.
Here's what I recommend.
First priority is a headshot, I know it may not seem important but even just your profile image on LinkedIn can determine if they click on your profile or not. An unprofessional grainy iPhone image there can already cause someone to move onto someone else.
Secondly, business photos, you in your regular work attire. This is where we will make people feel personal connections to you as a professional. These are images you will use widely across everything you do.
Finally, I recommend causal photos. Jeans and a polo, some aspects of your hobby, things that connect even more personally to you as a person. Sometimes you can make great connections just based on common interests. It can be what start the conversations you really needed.
